Our Story
It begins at the lowest point on earth.
Where it begins
You cannot swim in the Dead Sea.
I grew up beside it. You learn early, usually the hard way, that you cannot swim in that water. It's too dense. Push against it and it pushes back — you end up exhausted, stinging, and exactly where you started.
So you stop. You lie back. And the water holds you.
People have come to that shoreline for thousands of years. None of them arrived by fighting it.
The moment you fight it, it stops working.

Who we are
Salt and mud. Two halves of the same thing.
SaltMudé is built by two people. I grew up beside the Dead Sea and brought the idea — that skin responds better to support than to pressure. Sana brought the science. Her background is in pharmacology, and every formulation decision runs through her.
The name is literal. Salt and mud are the two things that shoreline gives, and they're the two halves of how we work: instinct and evidence, origin and rigor. Neither is enough alone.
We spent two years on this before we sold anything. That wasn't caution. It was the only honest pace.
What we believe
Three principles we hold to.
Guidance over force
Skin is a living system with its own rhythm. Meaningful change comes from supporting that rhythm, not from stripping, peeling, or pressuring skin into a temporary result.
Intention over excess
We make a small number of products and we make them carefully. Every addition has to earn its place rather than fill a gap in a catalogue.
Honesty over urgency
No overnight promises, no manufactured scarcity, no claims we can't stand behind. Trust is built slowly and it's the only thing we're actually building.

Support the skin's natural rhythm of restoration. Rather than overwhelming it with intensity, we provide steady, intentional signals that encourage repair from within.
We're beginning with two because trust is earned through consistency, not range. More will follow when they're ready, and not before.
What we don't do
Restraint, stated plainly.
- No fragrance. Not added, not from essential oils, not listed as parfum.
- No overnight promises or before-and-after theatrics.
- No animal testing, by us or on our behalf.
- No claims we can't point to evidence for.
- No products released to fill a gap in a lineup.
